Girbau has introduced some important changes as regards products in its Commercial Laundry Division
Girbau Girbau has recently embarked upon an extensive development programme as regards the company’s products.
In total, new products which have been available since January include 7 new washers models (6 series) 4 new models of SLI drying tumblers and the new STI 54kg and 77kg dryers.
Throughout the forthcoming year Girbau will be organising commercial conventions, within various market sectors, to announce the introduction of extensive and significant advances in the new product lines. The first event took place in Vic (Barcelona).
“This new products line demonstrates our determination to improve productivity and reliability through the solutions we offer our clients. If our objective is to satisfy the needs of our clients, investment in R&D is an ongoing commitment”, affirmed Pere Girbau, the chairman of Girbau Group, at the inauguration of the commercial convention which took place in Vic (Barcelona) on the 24th of January, attended by Girbau’s main sales agents for Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain.
New 6 Series washers
During the presentation of the new 6 Series washer-extractors, Technical Director for Girbau, Ramon Sans, pointed out that “the leitmotiv behind the design of these machines is to ensure that not only are these the most reliable, long lasting and profitable washers on the market, but that they also provide the best wash on the market”.
Various technological advances have been incorporated into the 6 Series equipment which have improved both mechanical and chemical action and which result in better time and temperature control. The outcome of optimizing each of these parameters is the best possible wash process with the best profitability. Thus, improved management of time, temperature and chemical action translates into a saving in time, energy and chemical products, without in any way penalising the wash process.
The choice of models from the new 6 Series together added to the already existent 4000 series enables Girbau to currently offer a range of washers with a load capacity ranging from 7kg up to 110kg.
The range of SLI dryers from 9kg up to 34kg
Profitability in a laundry can only be achieved providing it is seen to be a single process and the same rationalization criteria applied to all the equipment. For this reason Girbau has also updated its range of dryers in the Commercial Laundry Division.
In addition to an increase on what were until now the existing load capacities (9kg, 14kg, 23kg y 34kg), SLI dryers enable Girbau to provide their customers with drying tumblers which offer a saving of up to 30% on energy consumption.
An axial airflow makes efficient use of the dryer’s calorific power, resulting in optimum drying cycles.
The stainless steel finish on SLI dryers together with the large loading and unloading door and the SAFE security system are additional factors which make this range of dryers indispensable to any commercial laundry.
Drying tumblers STI-54 and STI-77
Girbau’s newly innovated dryers also include two medium load capacity models.
The STI-54 and STI-77 dryers now make it possible to dry 54kg and 77 kg loads respectively with maximum energy efficiency, thanks to the calculated airflow system and the optimum air-heat ratio.
