April 2008 – Girbau UK Limited, the recently-formed UK division of Girbau Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of commercial and industrial laundry equipment, has moved to new, larger premises in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
The new site is several times larger than the company’s existing premises in London and Stotfold and includes all the latest modern facilities for its staff and customers including training rooms, fully fitted meeting rooms and video conferencing with head office in Barcelona, Spain.
Peter Marsh managing director of the company commented: “These modern premises give us the space and facilities we need to meet our plans to double turnover within the next three to five years. Combined with the resources of one of the world’s largest manufacturers of laundry equipment, this new base will enable us to launch more new products this year to further enhance our comprehensive range of energy efficient washers, tumble dryers, ironers, folders and stackers.”
