At the end of January, the new factory which Girbau has built in Vic (Barcelona) began operation.
This new production centre for Girbau includes installation of 8600 sq.m. intended for the manufacture of the HS-5008 washer extractor, of 8 kg capacity.
The factory has a highly automated system of production in order to work as an assembly line, a system of working which has not been used up until now at Girbau.
The ground floor of the new plant has been intended as the warehouse, while the upper floor carries out production.
The manufacture of the new HS-5008 washer extractors proves the potential of Girbau for the market segment of small businesses like restaurants, gymnasiums, campsites, etc.
A large portion of the production at the new factory will be destined for exportation. |
